The NMRS database is available on-line through the CANMORE facility on the website of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. You will note that many of our ‘sites to visit’ have an NMRS number, and this can be used to retrieve the relevant entry from the NMRS database.
