Historic Rural Settlement Discussion Group meeting [posted 07.05.05]
The Historic Rural Settlement Discussion Group (formerly the Medieval or Later Rural Settlement Discussion Group) are meeting at Braemar, Deeside on Saturday 14. May 2005. Deeside. As in previous years the format involves a morning of presentations and discussion, with a site visit in the afternoon. This year we will be visiting the ruined township of Auchtavan, high on the hillside above the River Dee between Braemar and Ballater.

The cost will be £10 per person, including coffee. It is not necessary to book, or to pay, in advance, but as it would be helpful to have some idea of numbers, I would be grateful if those who intend to come could let me know either by email or by phone.
